USA won the Tony Trabert (men’s 40), Dubler (men’s 45) and Young (women’s 40) cups. They were 2nd in the Men’s 50 and women’s 45 and 55 divisions (Fred Perry; Margaret Court and Maureen Connolly Cups respectively). The USA finished 3rd in the Men’s 55 (Austria Cup) and Women’s 35 (Lenglen Cup) and Women’s 50 (Maria Bueno Cup). The Italia Cup team, men’s 35, unseeded, finished 4th.
