Women's Team Championships 1999

The 1999 Women's Team Championships are being held in Naples, Florida November 14-21. 

The 55, 65 and 75 play the 15-18 of November.  The 35 & 45 play the 18-21, and the 25's play the 19-21.

This event pits teams from the 17 USTA sections against one another in a team competition. The format used is a compass draw

The 35, 45, 55, and 65's have dual matches consisting of 3 singles and 2 doubles matches.  The 25's and 75's have dual matches consisting of 2 singles and 1 doubles. Players may but need not (depending on the size of the team) play both singles and doubles. 

55 & 65 teams began play on November 15.  The 75's began play on November 17.  Those 3 divisions concluded play on Thursday, November 18th. 

The 35 & 45 divisions began play on November 18, and the 25 teams began play on November 19.  All of those age divisions concluded play on Sunday November 21st.

35's: Southern d. Texas
45's: MATA d. New England
55's: Southern Cal d. Southern
65's: Southern d. Florida
75's: Southern d. Southern Cal
