Bios:
Kathy Bennett Doss, Rancho Mirage, CA. Husband Richard Doss, who won the 70's doubles slam in 2004. She has 5 (almost 6) grandchildren. Kathy was the top ranked 55's doubles player in 2004 and has 4 gold balls, in doubles. She's a successful interior designer, general and flooring contractor. She is also a member of the Senior International teams committee.
Margie Cooper, West Palm Beach, FL Margie is a partner in a West Palm Beach law firm, Jones, Foster, Johnston & Stubbs, PA. She was #1 in Florida as a junior and a 3-time member of the Junior Wightman Cup team. She also played collegiate tennis at Rollins before playing on the Virginia Slims circuit prior to entering law school. She is now competing in the 55's division. She has volunteered at the sectional and national level for years. She is currently a member of the Adult/Senior Competition committee in addition to this committee. She also captained the Bueno Cup team several times.
Jackie Kimball, Sea Brook Island, SC. Jackie is an experienced USTA volunteer. She has been on multiple ranking committees. She was one of the founding mothers of the USTA National League program (which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year).
Jeannie Mullen, Jackson, MS. Jeannie is a partner in an independent securities brokerage firm where she works as an investment advisor. She is also busy building a new house. She's the immediate past president of River Hills Club, the first woman president in the club's history. . This year she is also a member of the NSWTA Board of Directors. She's an excellent player and participates mainly in the 45 and over division. She's a superb writer. She has a sweet cat, Chloe and says she misses her tennis buddies and hopes to rejoin the tournament scene soon.
Margaret Newfield, FL. Margaret rejoins the Senior International Teams committee after a year's absence. She's a former Bueno Cup captain. She was a ranker for years and is very experienced in researching players' records. She's a long time USTA volunteer at all levels.
Carolyn Nichols, Lodi, CA. Carolyn is the Women's Coordinator of this committee. She She's also a member of the Adult/Senior Competition Committee. She's a member of the NorCal Adult Tournament Committee. She's the current president of the NSWTA. She runs a senior tennis website, http://www.carolynnichols.com. She helps seed national events and is a USTA circuit chair. She has been a member of several international teams.
Carol Wood, Rockville, MD. Carol is the publicity coordinator for this committee. Carol is a former NSWTA president. She started the Senior Women's Intersectional event. She's been a tireless volunteer at the state, sectional and national level for decades, in addition to being an outstanding senior player. She plays age division tennis in the 65's. She helps to seed national tournaments. She has participated in International teams both as a player and as a non playing captain.
