The 35/45 Indoors and the pilot Husband/Wife Indoors (not a gold ball event) will be held the 17-21 of May, 2000. The Husband/Wife event will begin the 19th of May. The main sponsor will be American Airlines and Star Newspapers will be a co-sponsor. The site is the Homewood-Flossmoor Racquet & Fitness Club in Homewood, Illinois.

The singles seeds are: Leona Matzenauer, Mary Lou Daniels, Marianna Hollman, Fran Chandler, Anna Hayden and Ashlee Ashba.
The doubles seeds are: Daniels/Donna Yuritec, Ashba/Hollman, Anna Hayden/Julia Sierks and Karen/Frances O'Sullivan
The 45's:
The singles seeds are: Elly Appel, Elisabeth Freeman-Young, Mary Ginnard, Chriss Wing, Nancy Ornstein, Ann Geier and Margaret Machoian.
The doubles seeds are: Appel/Ginnard, Lisa Culp/Melanie Wheatley and Sherri Bronson/Chriss Wing.
Husband/Wife:
The seeds are Paul & Mary Lou Daniels and Peter & Sherri Bronson. There are 10 teams.
Thursday: All seeds reached the semis of the doubles in the 35's and 45's and all seeds reached the singles quarterfinals. Semis of doubles and quarters of singles will be played on Friday May 19th.
Friday: The top 4 seeds reached the semis of the singles and the top 2 seeds reached the final of the 35 doubles. There was one upset when Bronson/Wing beat Appel/Ginnard 46 60 63.
Husband/Wife: The two seeded teams won, though the Bronsons had to go 3 sets to beat the Marolds. The Bronsons face the Geiers in one semi and the Daniels face the Reifeis.
Saturday: 35's: The top seeds reached the finals so Matzenauer and Daniels will repeat their 1999 encounter. Daniels/Yuritic won their 5th straight 35 indoor crown, losing only 3 games in the final. Hayden/Sierks placed third.
45's: Appel & Freeman-Young reached the singles final; Culp/Wheatley won their second indoor crown over Bronson/Wing. Appel/Ginnard placed third.
Husband/Wife: The Daniels beat the Reifeis 64 62 to reach the final. Bronsons d. Geiers 64 64.
Sunday: 35's: Daniels d. Matzenauer 62 60 in a reverse of last year's result between the same players. Chandler placed third. Ashba placed 5th.
45's: Freeman-Young beat Appel 62 62 in the final; Wing placed third and Miller placed 5th.
Husband/Wife: Daniels edged Bronsons 75 46 62; Refeis d. Geiers 63 76.
